Matt Ladhoff is currently a faculty member at the Carlson School of Management, teaching as a part of the Impact Lab. Matt currently teaches courses in Problem Solving, Leadership Development and Social Entrepreneurship. Matt also serves as an advisor for the MBA startup venture enterprise at University of Minnesota and as an advisor for the Mandela Fellowship Program for Young African Leaders.
Matt founded Problem Solving for Life LLC, which supports individuals in building intentionality through action by identifying an issue the individual wants to focus on, disaggregating the root cause of the issue and developing a plan of action. Matt regularly hosts Problem Solving workshops and offers coaching to individuals and organizations alike. He believes in using business as a force for good and often speaks about the intersection of business principles and mission oriented work.
Previously, Matt has worked at an impact analytics consultancy, as well as in nonprofit fundraising and program development. Matt also worked in Corporate Sourcing for three years at 3M as well as three years in corporate philanthropy leading education grant making for the 3M Foundation. His six years’ experience at 3M also included leading 3M’s New Employee Network.
Matt was a member of the 2022 Humphrey Policy Fellows Program, was previously a member of the 2018 Leadership St. Paul Cohort and was recognized by Ballinger | Leafblad, Inc 2017 List of "One's We'll Be Watching". Matt Ladhoff holds an MBA from Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
Matt currently sits on the Humphrey Policy Fellows Advisory Board, as well as serves on the Education Day subcommittee of Leadership St Paul.
Matt is married to his wife Sara and when not working they can be found exploring a new Brewery or taking a flight together after Matt recently earned his private pilots license.
